Good morning, Fam!

Not only did we make it to hump day, but we made it to October!! Happy Spooky Season!!!! 🎃👻🐈‍⬛🕷️🕸️

I had high hopes that I would be settling into my new home 🏡 in Pennsylvania by this time; however, we know that the federal government moves at its own pace, and to receive my portion of the 401K, I find myself stuck moving at a snail’s pace. 🐌🐌🐌I did not know that the federal government would have to get involved in my divorce.

We can agree to split the financials, but the government has the final say. A completely different attorney had to get involved to create a piece of paper that said my 19-year marriage was legal!! Even though I have the marriage license and now the divorce decree, that separate form was required to prove that our marriage was legal. 😲😲😲$750 for one sheet of paper that said, “This fool married that other fool legally in 2006.” The divorce cost just as much as my wedding, so I know I was a fool, but that foolishness has been corrected!!!

In my Quest for Knowledge, 🤓🤓 (Yes, that’s how I live my life! I am in a quest-based life!!) I learned how to connect my iPhone via Bluetooth to my computer. Not only can I hotspot myself out in the wild, but I learned to transfer files back and forth between them! Why do I need to know that? I’m really not sure at this point, but I know in the future it will come in handy! Never stop learning, fam! I have left a quest for you to complete at the end of the post!

I have been listening to Undressed by Sombr on repeat this morning. I heard it in the car when I was out running around getting stuff done. This song really speaks to me. I don’t want to have to get undressed for a new person again. Good thing, I have a FWB, aka Cowboy, who has seen everything under my clothes, and they don’t care about my scars and hanging skin. Now, if I could just take him with me to Pennsylvania, but he is Texan through and through. Maybe I can convince him to be a Pennsylvania Cowboy!

You heard it right here, LADIES… get you a FWB and stay away from becoming entangled. That is my HUMP DAY ADVICE for October.
